About WBEF

wbefThe Western Boone Education Foundation (WBEF), established in 1999, is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to improving Western Boone Schools. With help from parents, teachers, community members, and local businesses, we are able to provide grants for deserving educational programs, as well as award college scholarships to worthy seniors. We are proudly partnered with the Community Foundation of Boone County (CFBC) and are committed to creating a brighter educational future for both students and teachers to enjoy.

We are also excited to announce Western Boone Promise Scholars, a program dedicated to establishing college savings accounts for all incoming kindergarten students at Western Boone Schools. To learn more about the program and its positive impacts, please view the Promise Scholars tab.

Please explore our page to learn more about the WBEF and see how you can help pave the way for our children's futures!
